We the mods want this game to be fair for everyone. If there's something you don't like, a suggestion you have, or even a complaint, please don't hesitate to bring it to our attention! Know that while we may not always agree or use your idea, your input as a player IS important to us, and paramount to this game! But also realize that arguing with the mods, once they've made a decision, is not a smart thing to do.

There will be mature content here, so the age limit is 16. If you can prove your maturity, we may accept a few years younger. However, because of legal issues, we ask that you not participate in or read sex scenes if you are not of legal age where you live. This game is for fun, we really don't want to get arrested.

No OOC drama IC and no IC drama OOC. It's silly and stupid to do so and we won't put up with it. If you have a problem with someone OOC, keep it OOC, and vice versa. We're very accessible mods; while it's usually best to try and work things out yourself, if for some reason you can't or have tried and failed, that's what we're here for! We will do our best to help with any problems or issues you might have. Even if it's with one of us.

Please use proper grammar and spelling. Spell check is your friend! Typos are forgivable in moderation; but if we see you constantly spelling things incorrectly or using improper punctuation/grammar, you will be asked to use spell check. Please do not include actions (such as *giggles and then responds*) in any journal post or reply/comment.

No god-moding. No controlling other people's characters without their permission. This includes but is not limited to speaking for them, writing out their reaction to something, reading their thoughts, assuming something about their looks/thoughts/actions/etc., or making references to something that your character has no way of knowing. It's pretty simple; Play your character and no one else's.

We accept any canon character (book, movie & JK canon) and are not accepting OCs because there are A LOT of canon characters to choose from. The character limit is 4 characters per person, unless you talk to the mods and we approve otherwise. Please try to vary your character choices and not play all of one family or both sides of a married couple, etc.

Activity! This game thrives on the activity of its members. With that said, we expect ALL characters to be active at least once a week. Also, one-liners are nobody's friend. Please try to remember quantity along with quality.

Each character must have a personal journal. Add only DOUBLECROSSED friends. Only one character per journal. Personal journals are magically linked like with most games, a creation of the WWW. doublecrossed is for 3rd person threads and owls only. double_ooc is for all Out of Character posts.

We love canon, we hope you do too! That said, we would like to stick as close to canon as possible, but considering the epilogue is so far in the future, we cannot. If your character is supposed to marry/reproduce with/etc another character that is in-game already, please poke them or a mod so that everyone is in agreement. If you're the first part of a couple, you get to set the bar, yay you!

Time will move daily. Just pretend it's 2003 instead of 2009! Simple!
